FN230-1 30in Vintage Flared Laser Cut Tender Kit

This is a complete laser cut steel tender shell kit for the Fitchburg Northern and other Allen engines. This kit comes complete with all parts needed to assemble the shell, as well as a bag of 1,000 copper rivets, 12 clecos and a cleco clamping tool. The compound curved flare corner is pre-fiormed, it only needs to be match drilled and riveted to the flared sides. The flares are pre-bent with a CNC bender. This kit represents hundreds of hours of savings in fabrication time! A "must have" for any new tender builder. This tender shares parts with the modern tenders except for the sides, rear and flare corners. A new version of the baffle plate mates with the rivet pattern on this tender and is backwards compatible with the others. Requires M229B-1 tank fill hatch and M229A-1A top tank water fill lid castings to complete. NOTE: Bottom tray is now pre-welded, see photos.
